Quick Decor Tips That Actually Work

Here’s how to create magazine-worthy spaces on a Chicago budget:

  • Use Dollar Tree zip ties to attach garlands to banisters—they’re sturdy and invisible
  • Create beautiful bows with velvet ribbon and zip ties (make bunny ears, zip tie through the center—done!)
  • Double up on ribbon through garland for a fuller, more luxurious look
  • Add Dollar Tree berries to cover any visible zip ties for a polished finish

When DIY Isn’t Enough: Professional Help to the Rescue

While these budget-friendly tips work wonders for quick refreshes, sometimes life gets too busy for even simple projects. That’s when it makes sense to book fast cleaning services from a trusted Chicago cleaning company.

Many Chicago residents find that combining occasional DIY efforts with regular professional home cleaning creates the perfect balance. You maintain control over your decor while leaving the heavy lifting to experts.

Beyond Surface Cleaning: When to Call Professionals

There are certain situations where deep cleaning help becomes essential:

  • After holiday decorating (all that glitter and garland debris)
  • During seasonal transitions
  • Before hosting guests or events
  • When you simply don’t have time to clean your apartment properly
